How to Have Fun Playing Video Games

Now you NEED to have fun – no excuses!

#588 – We wish we could say we have “nothing but love” for video games, but to be honest, sometimes it’s more of a love/hate relationship. Our goal at Two Button Crew has always been to enhance your enjoyment of Nintendo gaming and fandom, so today we’re doing that quite literally: explaining how to have fun while gaming. We’ve got tips for casual and competitive environments, as well as single player gaming. Hope it helps!

Splatoon 2: Impressions So Far…

Team Mar or Team Ina?

#559 – Splatoon 2 launched last weekend and it’s been a whirlwind of fun! While the sequel isn’t unlike its predecessor, there’s nothing wrong with that. It perfects some of the mechanics while adding extra modes! In this episode, Scott covers some general impressions while playing the first level of campaign mode and then taking it to Turf Wars. Are you team Pearl or Team Marina? (Nevermind, don’t even bother answering that.)

What Length Should a Game Be?

Not too long… not too short… juuuuuust riiiiiight!

The length of a video game’s campaign or story mode can be a deciding factor in purchases these days. We as gamers want to feel like we are getting our full money’s worth when we invest in a new title. But some games just end up feeling way too long, and another problem arises when our time is not being respected by the developer. There has to be some kind of happy medium, where games don’t take too long to beat and they also don’t feel too short!
