Playing Smash Bros… with NO THUMBS

We thought it would be a great idea (or at the very least… entertaining) to attempt a few Smash Bros. matches without using our thumbs. When we streamed this live, our viewers in the chat said they had a hard time distinguishing our playstyle from a normal match! I’d say we adapted pretty well! And for comparison, we show you a couple rounds with all our digits legalized.

Zelda: BotW Challenge – Infiltrating Ganon’s Castle

Can you imagine what we’d do if we just beat the game while making this episode… accidentally?!


Can we make it into Ganon’s castle, with only early-game items and armor?! Ryan, Simeon, and Scott take turns with the pair of Joy-Con to see what they can do against the Malice and Guardians. Spoiler disclaimer: We approach the endgame, but do NOT meet the final boss.

Smash Through History: 64 – Wii U

It would have made FAR too much sense to play the games in chronological order! Nah!


Today is Scott’s 23rd Birthday, and to celebrate, Simeon is giving him the chance to display his skills in all 5 official Super Smash Bros. games. 64, Melee, Brawl, 3DS, and Wii U are all included in this challenge, and the player that wins the majority of rounds is declared the Ultimate Super Smash Bro. Simeon wouldn’t dare humiliate Scott on his Birthday, now would he?
