Debate: Should Custom Smash Bros. Moves be Legal?

We have the privelege of being a part of a great, thriving Smash Bros. community in our area, so we took our experiences with the competitive scene and weighed in on the Custom Moves debate. Either way things go, we’re big Smash Bros. fans and will continue to enjoy fighting for Glory in Smash Bros!

There are hundreds of custom special moves in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Should they be legal in tournament settings? Simeon and Scott speak from their own experience and present differing opinions from the Smash Bros. community.

Coolest Custom Amiibo

Wonderful custom amiibo have flooded the Internet, so it was a fun task to sort through them and pick some personal favorites. Please send in your best finds or your own creations, we’re always down for another installment of this show!

Nintendo vs. Voice Chat

Nintendo struggles to perform the balancing act of protecting their young fans as well as meet the expectations of adult fans. Voice chat is one of those areas that Nintendo fans may have felt slighted, considering the robust communication offerings on other consoles. In this episode, we took an honest look at the situation and the implications of Nintendo’s recent decisions regarding voice chat. It’s a more serious episode and it was cool to see that the TBC show can be lighthearted and fun as well as contemplative and heavy when appropriate.

The battle between Nintendo and online voice communication rages on. Nintendo has dipped their toes in the water with recent Wii U releases, but completely excluded voice chat in others. What’s really going on with this situation? What do gamers want to see happen?

Nintendo E3 Prediction Bingo (2015)

E3 is such an exciting time that, as a gamer, you just can’t help but speculate about everyhting that will go down. Well, we didn’t just want to make a list of predictions – we made a Bingo card. And we are going to get that Bingo, darn it.

Nintendo’s 2015 E3 presentation is right around the corner. They will be streaming a load of announcements on Tuesday, June 16th, and we are here to predict exactly what will be announced and discussed during their E3 direct! What do you think – are we spot on? What did we miss?

The Game Name Game Show

Video games have had such weird names that pretty much anything can pass as a game title. We really enjoyed this game, researching the craziest game names as well as making things up for the deepest depths of our creativity. Enjoy!

Debate: Smash Bros. DLC Characters

We are both pretty passionate fans of the Super Smash Bros. series. Sometimes it feels like a love/hate relationship, but we just care so much about the game and the decisions that the developers make! More importantly, the advent of DLC in Smash Bros. opens up endless fun to be had theorizing over additions and debating for characters to be grafted into the roster.

The Ultimate Nintendo Theme Park

A Nintendo theme park has been one of our dreams for a LONG time! It’s really going to be quite the magical place. Nintendo’s characters and worlds are going to come to life in ways that they never have before. It’s so good to see the company stepping out in brand new ways.

Nintendo and Universal are teaming up to bring Nintendo-themed rides to Universal theme parks! The possibilities are wide open, so join in the fun as we theorize what a Nintendo theme park could be!

The Nintendo World Championship Returns!

It’s our debut episode! We had a lot of fun recording this. We’re learning a bit as we go. What an exciting time to be a Nintendo fan, and an exciting time to start a brand new show. There’s much, much more to come.

The Nintendo World Championship is returning after a 25 year hiatus! During Nintendo’s E3 2015 programming, gamers will face off in a variety of games to become the Champion. What games will be included in this competition? Simeon and Scott present their theories in this episode of Two Button Crew.
